My suggestion would be to try some Talon grips which will help you get a good grip on the gun. My thoughts are that if you extend the mag, might as well carry the P9.

I seen on here where someone took a regular nut and sanded it down round, looked just like the original. They still contacted Kahr to have it replaced, but kept the old one as a back up.

I agree on Talon Grips although I prefer the granulate texture. I found that you get a better grip with it over the rubber.
