I just stumbled across this site. The reply by "Ned Weatherby" is a classic response...so much so that I spit out my coffee laughing so hard. Then to top it all off, I go and check out the "gun free zone" blurb on YouTube and I am ROTFLMAO...

Hahaha I don't know why people think that we live in such a perfect world where no one can get hurt, raped or killed. The military and police aren't always there for you AND they aren't required to protect you! Bad things can happen to you no matter where you go. Even to get some coffee from Starbucks.

I wonder...would the author feel fearful if the coffee shop had several police officers in it, all packing heat? It's a curious thing, this fear of lawfully armed citizens.

I think it'd be an eye-opener for Bob to attend a concealed carry class and see how limited the usage of a weapon in self-defense is, as it's not like most CCW folk carry to win arguments or threaten people who mouth off or walk into Starbucks like Yosemite Sam. I could go on, but I'm preaching to the choir here.
