Talking My New Mirror Polished CM9!

Yes. I bought qwiktim's New Custom Kahr CM9 - Professionally Polished. Tim took some really great pictures, and he sent me some more when I requested them. I have arranged them in a photobucket slide show Enjoy!

Wow! That is sweet! I may have to try at least a little smoothing on mine. But "professionally polished"? Not in my lifetime, maybe "no longer flat looking".

Yes. The barrel and ramp are polished to a mirror finish. It was worth it to me because it is everything that I wanted in my daily CC companion.

Interestingly, what looks like bright yellow paint on the sights in a couple of the pictures is a photographic or lighting anomaly. The sights are the original white on the gun. Tim is still puzzled about how they could look so brilliantly yellow in those photos!

I told Tim that I remembered seeing a product like that on the web: bright colored light activated luminescent paint in various colors that can be applied to gun sights. He liked the idea. So, I started looking in my Favorites list and found the website: http://www.brightsights.com/index.shtml. They also have free downloadable targets here: http://www.brightsights.com/targets.shtml. Check it out. :33:

There is a Cylinder & Slide Custom CW9 on Gunbroker for $1299. Been there for a long time. No one will touch it at that price. Just a #2 Package. Mine is prettier! :001_tt2:
