Default My new PJholster for the CM9

I bought a kydex holster from PJ Holster. This might be the best IWB holster I have ever had. I had a Silent Thunder. But, found it to thick, heavy and bulky. I have also had many other holsters including kydex and custom leather holsters. However, none as good as this. This PJ Holster, holster is fantastic. It is light, sturdy, and comfortable. The ride height is perfect, the gun's grip is just touching the waistband of my pants. There is a nice "click in" as you holster your weapon with good retention, which is adjustable. The draw is easy and smooth and reholstering is effortless. I got the IWB with no cant and the clip on belt loop. Paul will try to accommodate any custom requests you have. I specified no cant, specific ride height, and the belt clip to be no wider than 1". He did all those things for no extra charge. The turn around time was only a few days, excluding shipping time. BTW, I have no idea why my camera does not focus better. You don't need glasses it is my pictures.

Thanks. It has been several days now and I'm more happy with the holster the more I use it. It is so light, comfortable and easy to grab and go with. $40.00 well spent!!!

Glad you found something you like and is comfortable. I have the CT laserguard on my CW45 which really limits the holster selection. I settled on a Remora that works pretty well, as long as you keep your belt tight enough to keep it from slipping around.

Paul will make you a PJ holster that will fit it with the CT, and you will absolutely love the all day comfort!
    Very interesting...

I'd ask Paul at PJHolster if can make one that will accommodate your CW45 w/CT. I would guess he could. A quote from the website, "If it’s not on the list, and there’s a mold available, I’ll make it for you." I had a Remora for my LCP for pocket carry. Nice holster. The owner of Remora lives right near me. The newer company Sticky has really taken a chunk of Remora's market. The Sticky owner lives here also. I think Sticky might just be a bit better than Remora.

Very nice. However I would want two modifications... 1) The back Kydex cut so that your combat grip starts with the thumb on the gun below the mag release and not on the Kydex. 2) I'd want the clip cut/notched part way up to allow for pants belt loops that just might happen to fall where you want to position your holster.

For a Kydex holster I expect retention for only about 3/8" of an inch, the gun should almost pop out past that point and have very little or no retention for the rest of the draw. That should be the case with your holster as I see there is a retention adjuster.

Paul is making me an IWB with a J-hook for appendix carry of my CM9. He does outstanding work and goes the extra mile to be sure that you're pleased with the holster.

So you mean remove the kydex between the slide release and the mag release? (see pic below) The retention is about 1/2". The slide release is so large on these guns that it needs to clear it's pocket in the kydex. Then the retention is very light.
