So it says on the Kahr site "available soon".

Maybe we'll get a CM45 soon.

I'm sure they will sale well but I wonder how practical they are. When my department switched from 9mm to 40 Glocks the guys had to switch off duty guns from 9mm to 40 cal baby Glocks. Much harder to control and to qualify with and in actual shooting results not that impressive. These guns are pushing the limits of how small you can make a 9mm and then turn it into a 40 cal., in real life your giving up speed and control-ability for no real advantage, bigger isn't always better.

Reminds me of the Kel-Tech P-40 which they no longer make due to all the shooter problems they had with them. People just couldn't hold on to them and blamed the weapon. I have one along with the optional .357 SIG barrel. It does jump some but I've never had problems with it.

I'm no fan of the 40, did enjoy my 10mm, but if the price is right... heck maybe.

Nah....

I can shoot my PM40 more accurately than my CM9 or a PM9, have never really understood why, but it does have a little kick to it! A CM40 will be fine for anyone really wanting a compact 40. I'd like to try something a little heavier, like an MK40 just to see if it is more comfortable to shoot 100 rounds through at a time.

I constantly dream and play with the idea of a CM45. In fact I'm going to be doing a CW45 Covert if the CM45 isn't already announced by the time tax checks get in.

First post by the way, hello everyone!

Welcome to the forum, avengedXT! :) I have seen the CW45s priced at or below $350 lately. I don't think I can hold off purchasing one. What a value! In a good IWB holster, it would carry and conceal just fine. No need to chop the grip, IMO.

I have no probem controlling a PM40. I would much rather have it in my pocket than a PM9 for self defense.;)
