Hello All,
I'm trying to add an OWB holster for my PM9 with Crimson Trace LaserGuard.
I prefer OWB for the comfort over IWB.
I've tried Galco Paddle(doesn't fit well and sticks out too far)PJ Holster(nice, but
doesn't fit me that well)
Has anyone used Garret Industries Silent Thunder.Does there holster hold close
to the body?
Any other suggestion appreciated.

I have a Silent Thunder, but it is IWB, so I can't offer any first hand experience with the OWB model.
I would suggest that you give Ron a call. He and his wife make the Silent Thunders, and he even shows up on these boards from time to time. He is usually available to visit with customers and is very helpful in discussing your needs and their products.
So I would suggest you give him a call or shoot him an email.

Garrett has the Silent Thunder OWB and the Silent Thunder SX OWB (http://garrettindustries.mybigcommerce.com/silent-thunder-stx). Both leather lined Kydex. The SX is a better concealment holster as seen in their holster comparison chart (http://garrettindustries.mybigcommerce.com/holster-comparison-chart/). Keep in mind that OWB will never be as concealable as IWB but they are more comfortable for some. I have the ST IWB for my PM9 and it is more comfortable than my pocket holster which is very comfortable AND concealable.

Where is Thunder71? Didn't he just get a Silent Thunder OWB?

I'm here, I'm here! :)
I have the Silent Thunder STX (OWB) holster and absolutely LOVE it, it's been my main holster ever since it arrived. Hugs the body tight, unobtrusive, and conceals very well. As always with the Silent Thunder holsters, it has excellent adjustable retention and the Herman oak leather lining.
I highly recommend this holster, I hardly wear IWB anymore.
Thunder, you had me interested in a Galco Stinger before. How would you compare to the ST OWB? Ride height, comfort, etc?

Galco Stinger loosened up quick and had to return it.
I'd say they are very similar for height but the STX rides tighter and is more stable.
The other advantage is that you can wear it over a belt loop, which is ideal for me.

companies).
I'll post when it gets here.
