My first post to KahrTalk!

I got my Crossbreed MiniTuck w/Lasergaurd in the mail last week. Everything looked and felt great until I loaded up some snap caps and tried to re-holster.

Obvious problem:

I called Crossbreed and they were surprised they hadn't seen a P380 with a Loaded Chamber Indicator. Thankfully these guys are top notch holster makers. They said send it back and they'd fix it no problem. They also said they would be adding the w/LCI option to the list now that they know about it. I'm sending it back tomorrow and hope they get it back to me fast.

I'll post a pic of the results when I get it back.

Bummer on having to get a new holster. Looks like it would be something that could easily be taken care of, just takes the time to send it back and all that. But sounds like the Crossbreed guys are going to take care of you.

Heck, I never knew that either. That wasn't even on their website last time I checked, which I think was just a week ago. You'll like the minituck, hope it gets back quick.

In the meantime, if you're looking for a pocket holster, I HIGHLY recommend the Recluse. I've been carrying w/ it daily for almost a year. Head-and-shoulders above any other pocket holster I've used.

Here's the review I wrote in Feb, 8 mos later I like it even more. http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=5738&highlight=recluse

Thanks Buckeye,

Good review on the Recluse. I need a pocket carry option and this holster looks great. Do you think the w/LCI would change the fit? I wonder if going with leather instead of horse hide would be a good idea for me.

I can't see the LCI being a problem w/ the Recluse. There's already a little space up there, the holster is flexible leather, not stiff Kydex, and it wouldn't interfere w/ the draw. Personally, I'd go for it.

Sorry, almost, but I just find this funny in a pathetic sort of way....the LCI in general and any problems with accessories it causes.

wouldn't an orange dot on the extractor be a better LCI? i hope Kahr leaves this as an option, not a new feature for all guns

The only reason they have these features on a couple guns are because some states (MA and CA) require them. They aren't going to make all their guns like that. The only two that have them are the CA compliant P380 and the MA compliant PM9.

Kahrs have always had an LCI...the distinct, protruding leading edge of the extractor when there's a round in the chamber. It's even in the manual, I think. Not an uncommon feature that any experienced shooter knows or should know to look for. But that's no longer good enough for the "protect all from themselves" nanny states. Pathetic state of personal responsibility affairs.
