Looking to see if anyone has pics of the new pm9 with the tapered front end like the cm9 has. Thanks

I just bought mine new last weekend, and did not realize it was any different than previous models until I saw this post. Here is a quick pic.....

All new style Kahr's have a tapered front end, been that way for a few years.
Edit:
I see the Kahr site still shows the old style 'snub nose' lol.

Does the B punched into the trigger guard stand for 'blem'?

Hmm I'm glad I have the non-tampered version, I like the Glock-like brick more. Makes no difference in function though.

The 'B' does stand for blem.

Yes, there are three VERY tiny nicks in the frame on the right side. I cannot stress "VERY tiny" enough. I never would have noticed them if the dealer did not point them out. It was easily worth the $75 knocked off the price. They do not bother me in the least. I had no idea the "B" was even there until you pointed it out. I took a pic of the nicks which, to my old eyes, show up better than in person...

Yep, I'd take it for $75 off too!

Since this has been a common topic regarding Wolff recoil springs working in the “old style” PM9’s I figured I throw out a comparison pic….”old style”

Nice pic Rubb. Does anyone know why Kahr went to the tapered front or when they started it?

I purchased my PM9 8-2010 and was told it was from the first run of the new style slide. It's been 100% perfect for more than 3800 rnds. Also using the 13 coil Wolff's 20.5# recoil spring with out issue. Soooo in my case it works fine, regardless that others say it won't work.

How is the felt-recoil with the new spring?

I have one of those PM9 blems; all I was able to find was a tiny nick in the frame, at first I thought that could not be the blem, but after a lot of looking that is all i can find.
Bought it at a gun show; the price was right but the dealer didn't point out that it was a blem:( shame on him. If he had been straight with me, I am sure I would've still bought the pistole. Still very happy with the PM9.
Great shooter; I am sure you are going to like yours as well:86:

Oh, I forgot to mention, not only did I get the PM9 cheaper because of what they called a "blem", I also got a free CCW class which they usually charge $100 for. :biggrin1:
