Once I broke in my PM9, I have had almost no problems at all. I use good quality ammo, and stay away from light loads, like 115g bullets. I use 124g bullets for practice and carry.

I'll vote when I get mine back from Kahr. Right now, would not be a good time for me to cast an opinion..

Got my PM9 used. I call it the JPM9.... J being for the Jocko preferred .125" shorter model.

Eats everything I've put into the magazine... works (for me) with any six round or the one seven round mag I own.

My only complaint about any of the PM's I've got is that @#$@# knife edge cut they leave on the ejection port. A few minutes of work fixes it.... but... you'd think they'd give it a quick swipe at the factory to take the edge off. A pittance of a trivial complaint really...hardly eliciting thoughts of deal breaking condemnation.

I can't help but wonder how many in these type of "polls" have real world experience with them, or are they just going on second hand information? You know, "I heard they suck because my friends brother had one that blah, blah, blah".

We are left with 82% clearly giving a positive rating.

Which is precisely why I bought one last week. ;)

And you know a lot of people who have no problems with the PM9 wont respond I would think. My CM9 (economy version of the PM9) has 650+ no problem rounds with everything I have shot.

Well..., I have had zero problems with my PM9 right from the beginning. I did not cast a vote :)

Same here, but since that's been the story for all my Kahrs [and just about all my pistols], it's not remarkable. Satisfied owners of any product are like Nixon's "silent Majority".

Most good goes under the bridge where it is never seen or noticed.

I used to carry a larger semi, but due to circumstance, I needed a smaller carry.

I purchased a Kahr CM9 for the wife about a year ago for her B-day. Took her to a shop with no limit on spending. Only limit..........pick what you will carry. She picked the CW9 with NO help from me, but was a revolver lady and not much experience with semi. Took about a year, and she wanted it back. In this time, I had switched from.............to HER CW9 and I am left holding the ball.

The CW is a nice CCW, But I need something that I won't be tucking my shirt aroud all day and my time is limited. I purchased the PM9 w/CT 2 days ago. Took it out for break in,shot 250 rounds of UMC 115 and 14 rounds of 115 Gold Dots @ 10 yrds with no malfunction. I trust it. All rounds in center mass (10 inch pattern) and more important, it was a comfort to shoot.

Yep, I'm new. But now I'm Kahr.

Welcome to the forum, Ridge! You found out the secret: what great carry pistols the Kahr PM/CM series guns are. You'll find a great bunch of folks here like on no other forum.

For gripping and carrying your PM9, I have a couple of recommendations. I got a Qwik-Grip (http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1150&CAT=84) rubber sleeve for mine. Really makes the gun handle well. That is, unless you are trying to pocket carry, where the tacky rubber causes problems drawing the gun. The CM9 is a little too big for pocket carry, IMO. I carry mine in a PJ Holster Clip On IWB Kydex Holster (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37). I and other people here will tell you this is the only holster we have ever seen that is so comfortable carrying these compact guns that it and the gun seem to disappear when you are wearing it! I mean you cannot feel it there in the sweet spot right behind your hip at all, or feel the mass of the gun when you are moving around. You have to reach down there and feel with your hand to confirm it is still there. And just $40 shipped - a bargain! Coach Paul will customize it the way you want as far as ride height, cant and other attachment options (I recommend the over the belt clip).
