Just returned from the range and starting the break-in of my CW45. I used the 6 round mag that came with it and the 7 round freebee from Kahr. Both performed flawlessly, which kind of suprised me with the 7 rounder. I sent 150 rounds, Aquilla 230gr FMJ RN, without a hiccup. I really like the feel of this gun. It was very accurate, especially with me shooting it. Since I have a CM9 I was used to the long pull, but it didn't seem as long as on the CM9. I will probably get more break-in rounds later this week. Then I have to try some of my reloads.

Hey, sounds great. Gongrats. Are you planning on making the CW45 your EDC?

No, I am going to keep the CM9 for primary EDC. My wife bought me a Sneaky Pete holster for it for Christmas. I will probably carry the CW45 occasionally, but the CM9 is more concealable.

Looked up the Sneaky Pete holster that you mention. Appears that your CW45 would be completely concealed in the holster.

Good to hear all went well.

I bought my CW45 on November 30th and mailed the freebie mag coupon in on December 2nd. Whenever it shows up I'll take it to the range to begin the breakin' in process (already jacked the slide about 300 times after cleaning & lubing it according to the chart). Will use WWB & American Eagle 230gr fmj.

Might even crank off a hundred or so rounds thru my Ruger SR9 & a few in the LCP.

Haven't bought any holsters yet for the 45 & 9.

Bill,
The Seaky Pete does completely conceal the weapon. Unfortunately they don't have one listed for the CW45 at this time. I love it for my CM9, I hope they make one for the CW45 soon.
