Well it's been awhile since I sold my CW40, I loved everything about it except for the crisp recoil which I was just not ready for. About that time I also decided after much experimentation that I shoot better left handed. So I sold the 40 and went with a M&P9c which has been a good reliable carry piece, just a bit wide at times, and so I am ready to get back to a Kahr, I have a CW9 coming tomarrow and I am psyched, lots more options these days with the sights and all available. I plan on doing the whole breakin and lube routine I have a second mag coming and 200 rounds ready to go.

Good for you soulfixinman (should I bow or genuflect in your presence?). I think for the size of the CW the 9 is a good fit. I too am not fond of the crisp recoil of the 40 in these small packages. Great round for M&P size etc but just too much bark for the mini's.

No it's a small s in soulfixinman.....that name actually is from a late great blues guitar player named Luther Allison...he was the soulfixinman as in shoes. Yah I am one of those crazies, like all the g's...God, guns, and guitars!

The Cw's work great in the ultra thin High Noon split decision holster, just sold my right handed one here and I plan on getting a lefty.

You like blues and your left handed? I think that qualifies for a special parking permit.

Actually before my hearing deteriorated to about the level of a stump I used to enjoy Blues a lot, but really dug Blue Grass too. Now that for sure qualifies for a special parking permit but I already got one for a multitude of other reasons.

I kind of figured you'd bless me or sing the blues, 50/50 chance and I picked wrong AGAIN.

Well actually I am right handed and cross dominant.

Today just waiting for the text from UPS and then I'll be heading to my FFL for paperwork.

Got my CW9 at 10am today, did a clean and lube and inspection on everything and reviewed all the takedown procedures as it's been awhile since I had the other Kahr. I plan on getting some grease tomarrow for the breakin phase. I have been doing some research on firearm grease, it's just as expected opinions all over the place.
