Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and as of a few days ago I am the owner of a Kahr CM9. I haven't received it yet, but should have it in a few days. Must admit, I have never even held one, much less shot one. I have been researching a small 9mm for some time and have read everything possible on the CM9's. I wanted one and can't wait to shoot it.

By way of introduction, I have been around guns my whole life and owned mostly long guns, but a couple of revolvers. About a year ago, I jumped into this full force and bought a Colt 1911 that I truly love. Been reading and reading and absorbing like a sponge. Got my concealed carry license and a nice holster, so have been carrying a bit.

I have been reading here as a guest for awhile and just joined today. Look forward to the journey.

Steve

Welcome to K.T. You'll find lots of good info here. Be sure to go to the two sticky's on proper prep and lube. Any question or what not ask away.

Welcome to the forum Stevez, I hope you and your CM9 get along together well. The gun has great reviews with few problems so far. Be sure and find the stickys in the Kahr Tech section about proper preparation and the lube chart and do a little prep work and all should be good to go.

Welcome to the best gun forum, Steve! You chose the best subcompact 9 on the market. You will be amazed at how light the recoil is and what a fun gun it is to shoot.

Add my welcome to the pot. You're in for a good time with the CM9. I wish I could see your first trigger pull after shooting the 1911. The trigger on the Kahr is very smooth and consistent, but about 2 days longer than the 1911. You grow to love it but it does make it interesting switching between the guns at the range.

Thanks all for the welcome. I have read the sticky's and will read again and use when I pick this baby up. Should be delivered to my FFL tomorrow. Can't wait. I'll post my observations after my first outing, which I'm hoping will be Friday as I'm off then too. Steve

Hey, I'm a lifelong Card's fan and grad, so that's my team. Looking forward to Saturday's match up, but I think we are going to get slapped!
