THIS GIRL!
Just made our flight, hotel, and show reservations. It's also the week before hubby's big 4-0 bday so we'll really do it up big.
I've never been to Vegas, very very excited.

I grew up in the Mojave desert, about 4 hours from Vegas, back in the 70s.
Got married there to my first wife (one of two trailer park trash (_*_(((()
It's amazing how much that city has grown since then.
Don't think I would hardly recognize it now...
Have fun, take pictures and share.
We live vicariously here at KahrTalk - LOL!
will take lots of pics and share
we fly out early wednesday the 18th and will walk the show thursday and friday. spending saturday and most of sunday there for fun, fly out late sunday night. will drag arse into work on Monday.

Good for you TD2K. I'd seriously thought of going myself this year but it kind of snuck up on me faster than I expected. Doubt I'll pull it off now.
I sure would have tried harder had I known you were gonna go.
Thanks for stopping by, we miss you when you don't visit.
we have been talking about it for a while, decided yesterday to just do it.

I've never been to Vegas and would like to go some time. Not for the gambling, but for the BUFFETS!!! LOL! Also, GSSF and the shot show. Hope Glock comes out with something new that I want....like a single stack 9mm or Gen4 G36. Hope you and the hubby have fun and be safe. :)

LOL, I always figured Vegas was a good place for me to stay away from. I have no problem with gambling, but the overabundance of alcohol there might tempt me to have a drink or two, and I can't afford to abuse my liver any at all. The buffets would definately be the highlight of my visit. I figure if we ever make it out to Front Sight Firearms Institute we'd stay a night in Vegas and checkout the scenery.

My people that went last year said the full 4 days or whatever it was was not enough time. He had the place mapped out on his iphone with places that were must see's, most important of which was to get my autographed poster of Mrs. Moon which they accomplished in fine fashion.
I'm told it is indeed overwelming.
I have it on high authority that our own Johnh will be on deck at the Kahr booth at least the first day, so you'll not want to miss that photo op session. I thought there were no cameras allowed but there was lots of pictures taken last year. Mrs. Moon was a little shy and didn't want her picture taken and I was perfectly ok with that. I'll talk her into it when I visit in person.
we'll only be there for the last 2 days (Thurs and Fri), and possibly a bit on Wednesday afternoon.
I know how these shows go, I travel with my company to fire shows and they can get a bit overwhelming. things start looking very repetitive after a while. We usually have our booth, then map out those that we want to visit as time allows.
Last year I got to see FDIC, the world's largest fire show that is in the Lucas oil stadium (Where the colt's play), and in the HUGE convention center next door. It was NUTS, but a lot of fun.
The Kahr booth is on the top of my list.

I will be there for Media Day, and at the show the next couple days. Should be at the Kahr booth all of day one. I have never been so am looking forward to it. Lots of guns to see and people to meet. :)

Yup, Yup.
I've got a P220/45 and a P239/357.
The P220 is about 15 years old.
But the P239 is near new and flat out amazing.
Almost no recoil and laser accurate.
It had Sig NS already. But I replaced the front sight with an Ameriglo Pro.
Right now it's having a SRT trigger kit installed - Woo Hoo!
Can't wait to give it a spin when I get it back!
0700 flight tomorrow! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like the squealing pig on the zip line.

We like going to Vegas - at least once or twice a year.
Don't contribute (gamble) much - just watch the wife play the penny & nickle slots.
Would love to go to the SHOT Show sometime.
Got back late last night, we had a wonderful time. We walked the show all day thursday, didn't see a drop in the bucket I'm sure. We mapped out our "favorites" ahead of time so we wouldn't get too sidetracked and miss out on seeing them. Spent the most time at the Kahr booth, everyone was very friendly and I really enjoyed talking Bob. They gave me a Kahr hat and pin, and Bob is going to send me some great pics that he had there on display.
Overall a great time in Vegas and hopefully we can go back next year.
Will post pics soon.

Who is Bob? Is he johnh? Did you go check out the star of the show, the new Springfield Armory XDS? Or the Sig Sauer P938? Did you take any pics?
Bob is on the forum, but he would NOT tell me who he is. :(
we took pics, I'll post later.
Checked out the XDm, also talked to the custom build shop at Springfield. They do some REALLY nice trigger jobs for competition.
I also like the new Kahr trigger. It would take some getting used to, but I think I would like it.

Bob's a great guy, take my word on that. I hope to meet him in person one day myself. It's on the schedule, just gotta make it happen.
