I have a CW9 for a year or so now and it is reliable and I carry it sometimes for my CCW. I just bought a CW45 from a place on Gun Broker and It should be here about the middle of next week. I have several 1911's and really love the 45 acp. It was a Christmas present and I can't wait to get it.

Welcome to the forum Steve and Merry Xmas. I have the P9,P45 versions of those I'm sure you'll love them both for a long time. My P45 is much more ammo sensitive though than the 9 likely due to big bullet/small package so don't be surprised if you find yourself in a similar situation just find something that works and stay with it. Big trigger difference than a 1911 obviously but if you like the 45 round then this is probably the easiest to conceal full-size .45 out there today. Congratulations on your purchase and happy new year.

Congrats on the new purchase, Steve. Let us know how your range trips go.

I'll be taking my new CW45 out next week for its first break in session.

Me too. I plan to try out the new CW45 on Monday morning. I doubt that there will be any problems, but you never know, and I plan to carry the 45 part of the time in place of the CW40.

A factory new CW9 sold for $319 on Gun Broker, yesterday. I paid $373 for one, two years ago, and felt that was a great price. I think the CW series pistols are fantastic. I prefer the 9mm caliber over a .380 and carry mine comfortably inside waistband.

rounder, now how can any person who can buy a cw9 for $319 ever complain on that price. that is just one unbelievable price IMO.
