I had another boring Kahr sponsored trip to the range today with the new CW45 I got in a trade last week. 50 rounds USAAmmo reloads, 50 rounds of Federal bulk, and 50 rounds of Remington 230 gr HP's. The CW was perfect, but I let the long trigger reset catch me a couple of times. It was my fault because I had been shooting other pistols. I had done my usual prep of a new gun, except for racking the slide umpteen times - my shoulder won't take it. I hand racked the first shot and it fed perfectly.
The target is the first 18 rounds at ten yards. I noticed with the first mag that I was shooting high-right, so I adjusted my POA. A couple got away from me, but a 2 1/4 inch group is about as good as I can do until I get my shoulder fixed in two weeks. Then I'll be off shooting for two or three months, and will have to learn all over again.

u know what I have noticed in mosdt targets posted by guys on kahr is that you don't see that first shot flyer likeu do on so so many othger semi's expeciall 1911's style guns. My jPara carry 9 was just terrible about that first shot. nice group O';dell

I guess I suffer from the same malady - the flyer at the lower left was my first shot. Then I started going high-right.

I must have it too. Shootng the MRI first time out I sent the target all the way down to 25 yards, and my son behind me said several others at the range had the yeah right look on their face.
My first shot was dead center of the head, couldn't have been more centered with a stanley tape measure. I was like hell yeah, that works. If I was smart I would have just brought the target back, rolled it up for framing and went home.
But NOOOOOOO, I keep shooting and all went left but at least they were still in the target. Guess I just got lucky on the first one.

I'd laugh but I did exactly the same thing. I was sighting in the red dot on my carbine at 25 yards, and just for a lark, I picked up the CW40 and one handed a shot down range - right through the 10 ring. I wasn't smart enough to stop either, and spread the other 6 rounds over six or seven inches.

Those aren't fliers, they're group center markers for the rest of the ammo!
