I purchased one of these a few months ago, wanted to wear it a bit before I posted anything. This will be a long post, so skip to the bottom if you get bored. :D

Background - Previous carry setup was a LCP in a pocket holster from Holland Holster Company. My truck was broken into and the thief relieved me of both, so I went looking. I ended up with a CM9, and decided IWB was the best method for me.

(I have since added another LCP, for certain times, but thats beside the point here...)

I looked at many of the options, including leather, Silent Thunder, Crossbreed, etc. I had decided on a Mini Tuck, and then at a local gun show I saw the White Hat. Did a little research, found they are very similar, with a few small changes.

Interchangeable kydex pieces to change guns.
larger range of adjustment for ride height.
Plain clips, if you care about that (no big deal to me).
Cheaper

I ended up with a horse hide, non combat cut, black on black, for my CM9. I have to say, as comfortable as I could have imagined, conceals very well on me, and a few bucks cheaper than the Crossbreed.

I chose to go with White Hat mainly because they are local. I like to support local companies when I can, to the point that I will usually spend a little more to keep business here, especially for a small company. The fact it was cheaper, good quality work, will probably see me buying another in the future.

I dont see these mentioned here, wanted to give you all another option.

I will get pictures up soon, but I am not at home right now.

Looks like a good setup, but the drill sergeant wants a word with you...

Apologies. Came down with something, so out of it last night, and had to drag myself to work this AM. I will try to get them ASAP!

I like the White Hat holters for the same reasons you mentioned. Barrel dyed leather, Chicago style screws, interchangable Kydex sheath. If you own and carry more than one handgun, you don't need to buy another holster. Just buy the Kydex sheath for that gun and bolt it right on to the leather backing you already have.

White Hat also offers a base model with a riveted Kydex sheath and plain cowhide which is only $45

If you want to pay extra, you can decorate the Kydex with any number of cool colors, patterns or pictures.
They also make mag holders and OWB holsters that will accept the same Kydex sheath.
