Happy to own another Kahr, I liked my MK9 but it was really heavy for what it was.

Anyhow, my CW45 cost me $320 new. Good price by anyone's standards.

I went to the range today to fire 100 rounds. I only did 50 because I accidentally grabbed my similar looking box of 380 ammo accidentally.

All 50 Federal FMJs worked without a hitch. Shot great and accurate once I figured out the sights. I disagree with people that describe the recoil as manageable--it is minimal and negligible in my opinion. I shoot a Sig 229 at work, and PF9 Kel tec/bodyguard380 otherwise. This has as much recoild as the Sig if that. Really an easy gun to shoot.

One thing I had a hard time with--4 gun stores in my area and not one had a 45 magazine in stock. Poo :).

Well I took my new CW 45 to the range yesterday and only got 18 rounds out before the slide stop button flew off the side of the gun and with a live round in the chamber, had to pry the slide open to eject it. I called Kahr a they suggested a new spring(they are sending)first. Man, I hope this is not the start of a bad relationship.

Congrats on the CW45, I am glad you enjoy it! But IMO saying "… I liked my MK9 but it was really heavy for what it was …" is not quite right.
