Hey everybody, new guy from SC! I'm an owner of a "new to me" used PM9 that I picked up yesterday on what I thought was a good deal.
The only concern I have with it is the polymer frame under the muzzle of the pistol dosen't sit flush with the slide. It bulges out a little on each side of the slide and I can wiggle the nose of the slide left and right. I did put 100 trouble free rounds through it yesterday and shot some tight groups with it. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
BTW, I have searched all over the net and havn't turned up anything.
Thanks for any input!

It is normal, all are like that, and when you get around to noticing the notch in the front steel rail, it is normal too...congrats!

beardog is right on top withthe correct answer, why it is like that is specualition. My thoughts have always been that if your shooting these kahrs and part of ur grip is on that forward section of the lower grip that this buldge keeps one's fingers from grabbing the slide and maybe slowing it down fromitscycling action.

Hope u visited the kahrt tech section ad did the

both the front and back rails are one peace, inbedded intot he polymer frame. what compman stated is right.

the Buldge on the frhnt dust cover is there by design. the notch is a vendor notch in the front rail, 99% do have it, either way it is normal . The movement of the slide back and forth is quite normal. It is not sloppy movement either.

imo DEFINITELY GREASE ON THE RAILS or a line of grease right down inside the slide groove
