Great feature. I wonder how long it will be available to the public before Al "The Wiz" Sharpton files a suit?

Having lived in Atlanta, I can see the benefit of such a device. A reflection of the times we are living in. And with Obama stoking the fires of class warfare and black liberation theology, this could save some lives.

I checked to see if this was published on 1 April. It wasn't.

I can't imagine this will have a long half-life.

Of course it is a very good idea, but considering how "well" MS software use to run it will mot probably send you right to hell :p

A GPS is no substitute for situational awareness, but I can see where this device could prove useful.

I wonder if they could incorporate a warning to arm yourself.
As you near the "bad side" of town, the device will announce "Warning.... rude and nasty area ahead... take countermeasures immediately... lock & load NOW."

I'd buy it and drive around Indy just to hear that.:D

I wonder if they would be vulnerable to law suits when it didn't warn about a bad location?

They might, and some of them can be lawsuits for racial discrimination.

Oh the wacky and wonderful posibilities of this device.

"Honey... I think we're all out of crack. Can you locate a dealer closeby."

I'm having fun with this... bear with me.

So, how many cities are excluded or mapped around? Detroit, Chicago, LA, Newark, Atlanta, DC, .....?
I would imagine the GPS will only route you thru interstates and bypasses.

If you demand to go into the "Danger Zones", you must first sign an online form that relieves MS from any harm you encounter by going off-route.:D

LOL! My GPS needs this since she goes out of her way to take me through every project she can find. I know I need to adjust the settings.
