I've been in a gun barrel frenzy lately for some reason.
Got a spare from Sig for my P220 for free.
Bought a G33 and a storm lake 40-9 for the G27.
Have a Storm Lake G27, extended, ported, Isonite QPQ finish on stainless 357
barrel on special order - LOL!

And now, wait for it, I know it's unbelievable but....
I just ordered one more barrel (number 4) for my P220 - LOL!

With an extra slide and several barrels/guide rods and recoil springs from my P220.
started thinking about getting a frame and building a second range gun!
My P220 is absolutely pristine now it's back from the mother-ship.
Looks NIB now, really, it takes my breath away!!!
So I'm hesitant to shoot it much - LOL!

Anyway, I was thinking extended ported Storm lake for the P220 as well.
So I'm surfing for a frame an come across a little surprise.

I'm in the same boat.

I was going to stop spending after Christmas and what have I done? Bought 1 pistol, 800 rounds of ammo, and a upLula mag loader.

But it is all for the wife so that makes it OK, right?

Sure.

BTW seem to have got one of the last barrels as they are sold out now!
How bizarre...

Those Sig extended stainless sport barrels are rare too I think???

I'm having a good day!!!

Ran across this mag.
I think it matches my new 5.5" SPORT barrel, don't you think?

I know the feeling. My determination not to buy a new gun w/o selling an old one went out the window on Jan 5th, when I ordered the new MK40.

BTW, I wouldn't have done that to my P220.

I just got the 5.5" stainless match barrel from that gun.
(well now the magazine too - LOL!)
No comp or anything else, just a factory Sig 5.5" Sport barrel.
The barrel itself isn't even ported (I don't think?)

Not really sure it will fit actually???
I'm hoping it's just drop in and will extend 1" from the slide.

Anyone else think it's time for an intervention for Mr. Barth? I guess buying guns and gun parts can't be bad. Long as it's for the children. I'm a kid too.

The discipline of a strict budget might be in order. :p

Or perhaps a plan to come up with more loot to buy more stuff.

Or in my case a debit card that ran dry before I did. Sorry Muggsy, I reordered the pins with a "different" card so they should get here next week.

For you and me, yes, but Barth seems to have more loot already..... Oh, I know. Barth could set a limit and then send you and me what he would have spent above that every month, divided 50/50 of course. Like Obama said, wealth redistribution is just what's right and fair.

LOL

As crazy as I am.
Not going to debate that with you guys.
And you know better anyway...

My three credit cards have no balances on them.
I save 26% of my income, pre-tax, into my 401K for retirement.
And then I add the over 50 catch up amount - LOL!

I'll buy what I want...

I've been thinking about getting a new credit card so I can say I got one with no balance, I don't recall the last time I had one with less than 3000 balance. I couldn't say about saving, I lost track of all that 27 years ago when I got married. No 401K and I don't think I'll ever be able to retire unless I find a nice bridge to live under with a good view.
I talked with an investment guy a couple years ago and he basically told me I was way too late and screwed. Not so bad in reality, I got my disability from the state and some retirement from work.
Oh well I got a lot of guns and that's all that really matters.

I didn't mean to be mean....
Not trying to brag.
I just wanted you to know I have my own version of control.

Guess I've been really lucky in my life.
And it just seems to be getting better.

That's cool, Barth. And you are wise maxing your 401-k. Keep a good eye on the investment spread, do some gold and silver and some real estate—maybe some promising land. And remember, high balances on credit cards wastes a lot of your money on interest, which is always a losing investment.

If you find a nice bridge that is a duplex or has a condo arrangement how about let me know. Or even a nice bridge down the road from the one you find. I might be interested. The bridges here all have horrable views. Not worth relocating my cardboard box.

Good point. How about also make sure that bridge has a gun friendly living arrangements in the contract. Maybe a place where I can go up on the road and hold my "will work for ammo" sign

And I work for the Phone company... no joke. :D I do feel your pain though. My cell phone bill is outrageous.

Let me know if Barth raises your electric bill to much and I'll hit him with a phone bill like he has never seen before and send some of it to you. Re=distribution of wealth is what they call it I believe.

My dream is to find a nice bridge where I can shoot right outside my cardboard box. Enough room to have my hopefully soon much larger gun safe (security don't ya know). Nice view, very few neighbors, hopefully not alot of overhead traffic.
Maybe even some railroad ties or something to mount my reloading bench on, an outlet would be nice but I can do without that.
I'm some what worried about being labeled a Troll but I think if I can meet the other requirements I can get around the Troll calling business.

You wanta be my neighbor or what?

Hey Bawanna, Count me in. I'm thinking that we can find some kind of overhang at Barth's place here and live there in the winter. Looks like we can fish too. Oh, and don't worry about the late Hurricanes. When they come in everyone evacuates and we'll take the penthouse suite. :D

Those are pretty big houses Barth, or is that all one. Which one is yours or are they all yours. Must be a pain to wash windas but I reckon you got people for that.
I don't do windas myself but I push a wicked vacuum cleaner. Just sayin.
I'm thinking your girl is missing. The chair is empty and that I surely hope isn't your hat.

I do like your plan about an overhang at Barth's place. It does look a wee bit crowed for me though. Course all that sand and sun has to be a magnet for hotties. Course all that sand also totally sucks for wheelchairs but I'll make it work, ya know.

I got no problem with a little wind storm. Hope they stock the bar in the penthouse suite, probably so don't cha think?
