Yesterday I sold my SigPro 2022. I've still got a P225 and P228, but I was never able to get into the SigPro. I just didn't fit my hand well.

Anyway, today I bought a big brother for my CW9, a CW45. I bought it at my LGS, and paid exactly the same [$425] as I paid for the CW9 six months ago. They had a used P45 for $65 more, and I thought about it, but with a used gun, you never know. I bought a 24/7 Pro c 45 last month, and was considering a Mil Pro 45 for a CC pistol. The 27/7 has been flawless, but so has my CW9, so I spent the extra $55 for the CW45, including the second mag. I like the DA/SA trigger and manual safety on the Taurus, but I also like the extra barrel length, smaller size, and fit and finish on the Kahr.

If it works as well as the CW9, I'll be very happy with the purchase.

Think you'll love it.
Mine's been 100% from the get-go and conceals just as well as my CW40 and PM9 with a Mini-Tuck.
Shoot the heck out of it.:cheer2:

I'm still hoping to get one too, but I just bought a Ruger SR9 last fall as a range plinker.

Please post a range report on your new CW45.

I LOVE my CW45's. One they were past the 200 round break in period they have been flawless performers, as long as I do my job that is.

Since I started this thread, I'll add to it. I took my new CW45 to the range today and ran 174 rounds through it - 150 rounds of extremely dirty Atl. Arms 230 gr and 24 rounds of Gold Dot 185 gr. I had one FTE, but I was limp-wristing the gun to see if it would fail. I will say the the GD's had significantly more recoil and a huge muzzle flash, but they fed flawlessly. I do know I won't fire the pistol again for this many rounds without a glove. The muzzle flip wore the skin off the base of my right thumb.

All in all, I think it was a successful outing. I won't be able to claim 400 rounds without a failure like my CW9, but as i said, it was my fault. This little hand cannon does KICK!
