I put the Dawson Precision tritium front sight on mine. $49 and very easy to install. Simple instructions and buy some loctite. I am very happy.
I'm satisfied with the stock sights.
What feature are you looking to improve on them? Size, color, contrast, shape....?

The CW9 is not supported by XS. You should email them and tell them you would like some to fit your CW9. You could have a dovetail cut for the front sight, Xs can do that, but $$$.
The only choices you have for the stock slide are like jjmc2001 used (hey jjmc:yo:), Dawson Precision, they make a night sight, fiber optic, and plain steel front and rear sights.
Or through the Kahr shop you can get...Trijicon night sights. They also have some Fiber optic sights available for the CW/CM lines.

I called XS last Friday and they said that they have CW/CM front sights in final stages of testing and that they will be out soon.
Could not pin him down on what 'soon' meant but again they are testing them as I type.

There you go!
I talk to them about a year ago and they said they couldn't do it:confused:...which made no sense to me because I had just got done installing XS big dots on my Glock 26 and they are only held on by one screw too???
Anyways thanks for posting, and I would still keep contacting them, maybe it will help them hurry it up;)

OK guys....
Could not stand it so called XS again just now.
They have and are testing XS on CM and CW and are testing lots of rounds with 40 and 45 to make sure they abuse them as much as they can in testing.
Asked him to peg a time for release and he said a month or so is what they are thinking !!!
Now.. back to my CM9 vs P380 internal debate.... a whole different story

Hey Beardog & Jocko. Old friends from the elsiepea forum who also are Kahr fans. I just got my CW9 out of the safe to take a look at the Dawson Precision sight. I went this route because I really liked the factory Kahr rear sight and the Dawson front sight is a nice metal upgrade to to plastic CW. Plus the added bonus of tritium for $49. Very easy install with good instructions.
I went to a local gunshow this weekend and found a slightly used P380 in the original box. Now I get to make the whole sight decision again. I have lusted after one of these for a while and was shocked to find a good used one at a reasonable price. First decent gun show find for quite a while. Hope it shoots well. My LCP might get left at home more often.

Hey jjmc good to hear from you again. Congrats on your new Kahr, I hope you got a good one (some have bad frames) The trigger on that p380 makes poor elsie jealous I bet :D
I still carry her (hard to beat for small thin and lightweight) but mostly it is my CM9, and now that winter is here the Glock 26. It's good to have lots of choices;)
There is a favorite gun show of mine coming up this weekend...Could be trouble:D

I wonder how much it would cost to have a gunsmith put a dovetail onto a CW or CM? I bet a high end shop like Ahlman's (http://www.ahlmans.com/) would do it at reasonable cost. And install some sights while they're at it.
