I finally was able to get back to the range to make sure my new replacement PM45 fed the JHP reliable.
I shot another 25 rounds of WWB FMJ and it again fed perfectly. The HST and GD are expensive, since I dont have a lot of it I had to limit the amount shot.
HST.. 10 rds 230gr JHP perfect.
GD.. all I had was 200gr + P so 10 rds again, perfect.
I normally dont use +P in the 45, this was a new box that was given to me so I used some of it. I had no 230 gr std pressure GD loads. The +P definitely has more recoil, not unmanagable but why punish myself and the gun. Since I got this new gun it has been flawless, I'd trust it for carry now but will try more JHP as I get them, just to be sure.
Kahr also came through with those 3 extra mags, all 3 test fired perfectly.

Good news John. Don't be concerned about shooting +P in the Kahrs. They are built for it. I wouldn't use them for range but I do for carry. Won't hurt the gun but like you say, kinda expensive.
