I am looking to buy a IWB pj holster but really am lost with all the options. I'm a lefty and think I want the closed belt loop so it doesn't pull down my pants. I plan on wearing my cm9 24/7 so what's the best position for walking/sitting/standing etc. I'm torn between 830 carry and 11 o'clock carry. And is a 15 degree cant the norm? And what kind of ride height do you guys have? This is my first post and from what I have read so far I know everyone knows what there stuff. Thank you!!

Welcome to the forum, growler! :) And welcome fellow CM9er. I am a lefty, too. I have a PJ Clip On Belt Loop IWB (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37) holster with the over the belt kydex clip which supports the gun on top of the holster, hooks in at the bottom and is easy on/easy off. I carry at 8:30, which is where Paul designs these holsters to work perfectly. I got it with the f.b.i. cant and standard ride height. I wear it with a thick leather belt that is 1 1/2" wide. Let me tell you, get this holster! I and other members here will tell you it is the most comfortable holster we have ever come across. After I have had it on for a few minutes I realize that I can no longer feel it there at all! When I move around, I still cannot feel it or the mass of my CM9 because there is no shifting or moving. It becomes part of my body. I have to reach back there and touch the gun to confirm that, yes, I am carrying my gun! :D

I just did a little bit of trial and error by putting the gun inside my waistband and it seemed to work best at the 8-830ish and my pant line just over the mag release and level with the rear sight. It's a forward cant but not sure what degree. Thank you

I ordered my PJHolster today for my CW45 based upon the positive comments from many on this forum. The 45 is not listed as an available model on his website, but Paul said he can make it. I'm looking forward to receiving it.

I have the regular, but I'd get the tuckable if I did it again. I wear mine about 4:30. I find all IWB more comfy a bit further back behind the pelvic bone. No matter where you settle on, the holster will work fine. You may want to ask specifically for a higher ride; the front of the grip does not clear my waistband. I like it that way for Max conceal, if you want more grip you'll have to ask.

I have the same problem George does with the top front of the grip being below my belt line. If it was canted just a bit more forward It should allow for more room to slide your hand between the belt/pants and grip.

Mine is canted at 25 degrees and it is nice for me:

I ended up forming mine with a heat gun and its now at what is near the "FBI" cant.
I should also add that I ordered the holster with no special requests for cant.

Email Paul so he'll expect your order and any special requests you might have. My experience ordering from him was top-notch all the way around. He responded to my emails the same day and I received my holster in less than a week!

Did you use this account: PJHolster@gmail.com? He is usually quick to respond. But with all of the endorsements we have been giving him, he is getting busy! Try again.
Tuckable means that the clip is mounted to a separate piece of kydex with a slot between it and the holster where you can tuck your shirt.

I have mine at a 15° cant and wear it at the 4-4:30 position. Works great for me and very comfortable. I sent my tuckable back and got the regular holster. Nothing wrong with the tuckable, just not for me. He is also sending me the new C-clip holster with the same specs. Can't wait to try it out.

I just ordered mine. I wrote him an email about what I want, and left it up to him about the tilt and specified that I like the butt of the gun tucked into my body. I described where and how I carry, so I bet he'll get it right. I may even get one for my G19 given the glowing reviews I see for his stuff and how he can custom adapt it for me.
Can't wait!
