The back left corner of the gun seems to really tear my hand up while shooting, I dealt with it but I've got a good size cut.

The corner of the polymer frame is a little pointy, is there anything wrong with just sanding it down a bit to smoothe it out?

Put a grip sleeve on it. I have a Qwik-Grip (http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=84) on my CM9. Mine is a size 3, but your gun will need a 2, I think. Call and ask them. Also, a lot of people use a section of bicycle inner tube cut to fit.

No real problem as long as you don't get carried away with removing material. My problem with that corner was that it would dig into my side. I sanded it down a slight amount (hardly noticeable) and have been pleased with the results:

Sand away, but if you decide on a comfortable grip all the way around the gun I have a second for the Qwik Grip JFootin mentioned. I have that and it is comfortable and holds up very well. Note, I think I may have mentioned a few days ago that I have the AGrip but had just forgotten which one it is. It really IS the Qwik Grip.

I just lightly smoothed out the corners, after I did the first comparing the remaining one was night and day. I'm sure Kahr will update their frames down the line to accomodate this, but for now I'm happy.

I've got a little scab on the first joint of my right thumb from last week's new CW45 break-in session.

Ain't gonna file or sand anything on the frame. Am just going to shoot with a driving/bicycle glove on that hand.

I didn't realize where the offending corner was until I saw Greg's post. The Qwik-Grip won't help with that. What it will do is tame the cheese graters molded into the front an back of the grip frame, provide a little bit of added thickness and cushioning when you are shooting, and make the gun so easy to draw and handle without slipping.

I checked my CM9 and the first joint of my left thumb sits right next to the opposite corner, but the CM9 is thinner than the CW45 and that corner is very smooth and rounded off on the CM9, so I have had no problem with it.

Wear shooting gloves at the range - I do. In a "critical" situation, you'll have a lot more important things to consider than a small cut.
