Hello everyone! I am the new owner of a P45 and also new to the forum. This was somewhat of an impulse buy,I wanted a 45 and this was the best feeling firearm I could find for concealed carry in this caliber. This is my first kahr but not my first handgun so hopefully I will be able to contribute something to the forum.

Welcome Jag! The P45 is at the top of my wish list as I'm in CA and it is still approved. I look forward to hearing from you so feel free to speak your mind. There is a really great thread or two in the Kahr-Tech Section about proper prepping of your new Kahr and a lube chart. A new Kahr is tight and needs break in and wants to run pretty wet while everything is wearing together. Please follow those guides and rack it a bit to prep it.

Wlcome to the forum jagower. I have CW45 with CT Laser that I carry much of the time. I really like it, and is plenty accurate for it's purpose.

For those who don't know what a pediculus is (I looked it up):

Well, I finally got to go shoot my p45 and it worked flawless. The recoil was not to bad, maybe just a little more than the 1911 I took also. I mainly shot the 1911 because after I used up the fmj's all I had left was cast reloads but overall a good day at the range.
