Kahr service turn around time

I sent my CM9 in on Monday via Fedex overnight for a barrel issue. It arrived and signed for by them Tuesday morning. Haven't had any updates from them via email or phone all week.

Just wondering what the average turn around time from them is on this type of warranty work. Do they update you on progress?

I've had 2 guns go to kahr for service..Both took inside of 3 weeks for me...Both came back running flawlessly as well I should add...If you call them or email,they will give you an update...This has been my experience...

They use to be very fast. Once I sent my MK9 to refinish and I got it back 10 calendar days later. I guess that time I was very lucky, but still.

I sent an MK9 in for some extractor work and it was back in my possession in 2 weeks. Recently sent in a T9 and they could not fix the issues ... rebuilt the entire gun on a new frame and it will be back at my FFL on Monday, which is 3 1/2 weeks from when I shipped it to them. That includes the holidays and waiting on a frame to be produced. I have no issues with there service ... but you will have to call for an update. I would give them a week with the gun before you call though ... otherwise it will not have been looked at by a smith yet.

Just wanted to update- I got my CM9 back today via Fedex Overnight service. So, I shipped it to them on the 9th and received it today on the 19th. Not bad considering monday was a holiday too.

Only complaint I can make is they didn't notify me it was on the way back to me. Luckily someone was home to sign for it. Would have appreciated an email with tracking #.

But overall I'm very satisfied. Got a new barrel in it and got it back faster than I expected.
