It has been over a month since my cw9 followed me home. Well I was at a little gun shop In Madison yesterday. I looked down and there it was, the cutest little CM9 i have ever seen. It looked scared just setting there on the shelf with all those big black pistols and revolvers with there long shinny barrels. After talking with the owner and telling him how great of a home I can provide, He would let me take it home for a small adoption fee. But first he had to make a qwick phone call....I have to say after getting it home and looking it over i really like it. Hope to take it out to the farm tomorrow and break it in. I like the size alot better than my cw9... If it will shoot as well as its big brother and i feel i can trust it, I may have just found my new every-day-carry gun.. I will let you know after I put 200 rounds through it tomorrow....:D

I'm putting you in for sainthood for adopting that poor skeered homeless Kahr. I know you did it as a public service and expect no accolades or rewards but it's the least I can do for your gracious act.
Of course your gonna love it but you I'm certain have enough love for two so the CW won't be too terribly depressed.
We'll of course stand by in anticipation of your positive range report.
I got no where to go and snow neck deep on a small dog so I'll just set here and wait.

That is called paternal instincts; you are a good daddy. Congrats on the new baby!

No matter how good the CM9 shoots dont get rid of the CW9. You'll regret it as I do trading mine. I may just have to get a P380 to make myself feel better (if I knew I could get one that was recently from the factory.) Just over $500 for one all blacked out.

just one suggestion.... since you have the CW9, I would recommend that you remove the flat metal base plate from the CM mag (you are going to want to take it apart and "drain the oil" anyway) and replace it with your polymer pinky rest base plate from your spare (you do have a spare?) CW9 magazine. It will fit, and flush up perfectly, and I'll guarantee a much more pleasant outing. I took off a bit early today to make a trip to the range to run a box of Magtech 124 gr through a CM9 I bought yesterday. No boring "fanboy" details needed... it was as perfect as it's CW9 big brother. When I got home and cleaned out the crud from the trip and did a detail inspection of the intrals, I grabbed one of my CW9 mags and did the base plate swap. Looks, and feels like a finished product. Undoubtly, Kahr is "cutting costs" by using the proper length magazine body and installing the cheap, stamped metal base plates rather than the more expensive (better fitting) poly plates.

I heard that in parts out there 48/8ths of snow shut down the whole works:eek: LOL

Pretty much. Not much getting around. People whining that they can't get to the mountains to ski. I laugh.
Wish I had a little fire wood. I messed up and didn't have nearly enough. Might have to go tear some siding off the neighbors house.

I'll swap you a "more expensive" poly plate for every "cheap" metal plate you can find. I even have a few of those extended poly plates if you would prefer them. AND I will swap a poly mag follower for every metal follower you can find.

My CM9 said, "Buy me, or I'll kick your a$$."
Congrats on the CM9. You're gonna love it.
