I remember reading about the PM9's back in 2002. Seemed like everyone was saying they didn't trust a gun without metal rails... 10 years later and people are still ignorant about the steel rails on the polymer Kahr pistols.

Just today I was reading a thread on GT comparing the PM9 to the new Nano. One of the posters posted:


Does the Nano have The Steel guide inserts ( like the Glock 26 ), or
Is it built like the pm9 ( no metal guide inserts ) ? I always like to see some metal on these small pistols...

I could NEVER get on Glock talk and they would never answer my questions as to why I cannot get logged on. so someone there doesn't want me on. no loss either..

Well, what had happened was.....


A poster asked where he might be able to find a certain, semi-rare 1911. I had seen one for sale on another forum's classifieds section. I posted a link to it. Within 20 minutes the admin of the site edited my response, gave me an infraction and replaced my post with the following line:

"Deleted. You cannot be banned faster than posting what you did. Read the rules."








I took that as a challenge.

Frank I'm a member over at Glock Talk. Some members are just so blinded by so called Glock perfection that they think every other pistol is junk or a direct copy of the Glock pistol. Maybe someday they'll take there head out of the sand and dare to think on there own.

Just goes to show you....most of the human population are a bunch of a**holes. We just have a collection of good people, here. one reason is we have damn good common sense mods here that let the water flow alot more than most forum, we don't cut kahr any slack IMO either. I also think kahr listens to, they ain't gonna tell us that but I know they do.

Well, now you have an opportunity to reciprocate by educating them about Kahr construction. The embedded forward rails are one of the factors that sold me on the Kahr..having the slide on rails that far forward in the 'chassis'.
