Does anyone have an opinion and/or tried one of these holsters?

I'm looking for something that can be worn very low on the waistband, if not even or below the waistband. This looks like it can be adjusted to any height or ride. Thanks.

I have serveral and they work very well for me. They could be adjusted so low that you would have to undress to reholster. Just eyeballed them, it looks like the top of the kydex could be adjusted to at least 2 inches below the top of your pants.

Thank you! That's what I was thinking. I don't plan to wear it everyday like that, I just plan to use it when it's neccessary to go extreme low pro.

Did you cut yours at all or leave it 'factory'?

Thanks again for the reply.

As compared to my Crossbreed SuperTuck, they are not very high quality IMO. (CBST $70, the KHolster was $39, on sale)

The Kydex was not formed correctly to my MK9 and the trigger was 50% uncovered. The leather they used was very thin and flimsy, allowing the gun to fall out of the holster. I have made many western and pocket holsters over years and would never use this quality of leather for any holster. Maybe a rifle sleeve, but not for carry.

I emailed the company with my concerns and got no reply.

I stripped the hardware and tossed the rest of it.

From reading some reviews it seems people are either one end or the other. Extremely pleased or not. Recent reviews lean toward the good and older reviews the other. Perhaps he has improved the quality of the product.

The jury is still out for me. Thanks for the reply JimBianchi. Do you recall when yours was made?

I have tried about every type made and these are by far one of the best and most comfortable made. Bruce put several sets of attachment holes on mine and you can make gun dissapear. In my opinion I preferleather over kydex because it is more forgiving if worn all day. The kydex is pretty rigid and digs in rather than conforming to your body.

I have finished and cut mine to my liking.
There is a thing between Crossbreed and Kholster so the reviews can be slanted either way. (kinda like glock and sig) All I have ever heard was good about either one. I choose the Kholster because of the price. The one for my Sig I wore daily for 2 years without a hitch.
As you can see there is lot of adjustment left. The top hole on the right side is 2.5 inches above the one the belt clip is screwed into.

Thanks Jeepster, I have actually been looking hard at the Northstar because they look super comfy and I do want a leather holster in the drawer. I'm lookin at the Kholster because it can be dropped way down to a belt/below the belt level for when I need it to be.

I'm guessing I might just get both. Thanks all for posting the pictures!

I recently got three... I haven't really tried to wear them.. but honestly I didn't buy all of them to wear. I got them to put velcro on and velcro into a purse and gun bag. As someone pointed out they can be adjusted so low that you must pull your pants down or get help to reholster.

I can't speak to much of quality because I got nothing to compare them with.. seem like decent enough tho for what it is supposed to be.

I had issue where I ordered three and got two delivered. I emailed Jimmy and he got the missing one to me PRONTO.

The jury is still out for me. Thanks for the reply JimBianchi. Do you recall when yours was made?I bought one about 5-6 months ago. The kydex didn't fit. They remade it. Then I had to trim it to be usable. Not impressed.

I'd go with Tommy Theis Holsters or the COMPTAC Minotaur

Got one 3 years ago for my Hi-Point. Fits perfect, love how it can be adjusted for height or cantor even.

I have a Kholster and a Crossbreed. Very similar but the Crossbreed is higher quality. I suggest the Kholster and if you like that method of carrying at some point you might like to spend more on the Crossbreed.

5270Yours sure looks a 1000% better than mine. Mine functions very well, but is ugly because the edges where I cut are not finished. No one knows but me.

Thanks, We have a Tandy Leather shop here and hey have an edge trimming tool that works really good. LOL, Now I'm starting to become a leather junky.
