The board has gone wakky for me... very disturbing
+1 . . . Keeps losing my login and not displaying the usual page at www.kahrtalk.com. I have another laptop that sometimes does this as well.

Usually, I can just switch to Internet Explorer (from Firefox) and all is well. Today the message is different:

Yeah, me too. I am just clicking on New Posts and surfing from there. I've been doing that anyway because the Other Firearms Discussion threads don't show up in the Recent Threads window on the Main Page. That's another thing that needs fixing.

Yeah, me too. I am just clicking on New Posts and surfing from there. I've been doing that anyway because the Other Firearms Discussion threads don't show up in the Recent Threads window on the Main Page. That's another thing that needs fixing.

And with a weekend coming up, when no self respecting web engineer will be on duty. Not the best time to be rolling out changes to the forum software! :mad: :p

Maybe. I believe Bawanna once shared that weekends are historically low traffic times for KahrTalk.com. Or was that hysterically?! I get so confused. :o

Weekends are when people are off work and have time to log in. Saturday seems to be the busiest day of the week, with Sunday being slower, especially in the morning during church service time.

I got some of that yesterday too. I got another weird one today, but it seems to work ok now.

My lap top will give me that same message. Something about wrong password. I found that if I hit the login button on the smaller login area upper right it's like I'm already logged in and everything works.

No issue using explorer. awww technology.

You're back! I PMed johnh and here is what he said: "I got that fixed just now. I added a new member group that has some added storage and messaging capacity, for members with over 1000 posts. I forgot to add the permission to see the home page." Now, I go to the home page and don't get an error message. But this is all I see:

So it still needs some work. I am just hitting New Posts to read posts.

I would have laid money on a ddos attack, as of this morning... just everything creepin' along... dunno, seems a bit better, but not right

That's how it was for me a few days ago. I called my ISP and things got fast again in a day or so.
