Gun functions great, very accurate. One tiny issue, it's hard to get to slide back together upon cleaning. I did notice that the end of the recoil spring once in a while pokes out the hole directly under the barrel a little bit and if I reassemble the weapon after twisting the spring a bit, she's good to go.(it's the very end of the spring)
Anyone have a similar issue or and thoughts? I'm a gun guy and have several Kahrs and haven't seen this issue before.

That's not a big deal. Give it a twist and get it back inside of the keeper. Then assemble. It will be good to go..

Thanks, that's what I did and there seemed no problem. There is the issue with the inability to slide all the way back together without "fussing" with it, seems bound the last 1/4 inch.
Thanks

They are tight, to begin with. The more you shoot it, the easier it gets to reassemble and rack. How many rounds do you have through the gun?

the right thing with the spring to. nothing wrong with the gun, no doubt another 100 rouonds and everything will feel totallydifferent to. kahr recoil springs are very stout and for some a real bit-h to put backin but once u get a few hundred rounds down range, the gun jut smooths out all over.
nice gun the cm9, IMO kahrs best buy , by far.:banplease:

IIRC I read on here somewhere that to, when re-assembling, locate the cut edge of the spring oriented towards the barrel. Less likely to pop out of the RA hole in the slide.

Mine was the same way. I just pay good attention when putting it back together. Mine was also tight that last 1/4" the first time but after some shooting and racking of the slide, she goes together smooth.

My PM9 tends to do that from time to time...seems like it's hitting up against something, right? That something is the front of the recoil spring guide rod hitting the front of the frame and not going through the opening like it should. After you put the barrel into the slide and insert the open end of the recoil spring into the "hole under the barrel"...continue to compress the spring until you see the guide rod come through and clear the hole. At that point, you know it's will go through and it's lined up correctly...then carefully release the spring so that the flange rests straight against the barrel's recoil lug. Put the slide on the frame and you should be able to push the slide back that "last 1/4" without a problem...
