With all the talk about the Armorers manual here lately, I started digging around and found this. I am wonderign if anyone here has seen this or own it.

Now I have a good excuse to put a nice, new flat screen TV near my gun bench in the basement. :)

I usually comparison shop to get the best deal and especially at Amazon.com!:( Oh, well....
The early bird gets the worm... maybe not the cheapest.:D
I figured everyone would leap on that DVD.

I got my copy today. It's an hour long. The first few minutes are kind of a quick history of Kahr. The first half is about taking it apart... removing the slide and stripping it. The last half is about the frame... really why I wanted it.

It's not an Armorer's manual... just the guy taking the pistol apart. I could do the first half and wanted to help him by making the clothes-hanger "C"-clamp.
The last half is what I wanted information on... the frame with the trigger, trigger bar, the cam and the ejector. I've seen the whole video... about one hour... and the last 30 minutes are what I needed to see. I guess it was worth the $28+ including shipping for that. Newbies can really benefit from the whole thing, but use the "C"-clamp described in the stickies here for the slide disassembly.
He thought the striker assembly being wet was a good idea. The whole gun was like new from the factory and dripping.:)
I've spent more money on worse things, so it's not a bad buy. Just remember, it's a disassembly and then re-assembling of the CW9, though it covers all of the polymers and some of the basics that the metal pistols share.
I noticed that he didn't use a Torx screwdriver or stress not over tightening the sideplate screw into the plastic frame. I could see room for improvements but it's definitely helpful.

Sounds like one of those UTube videos that do the same thing. I know I saw a full frame take down somewhere on it.

Yep... he just points out some stuff as he takes apart and puts it back together... no repair manual. I'm sure there's better on YouTube.

Got mine Saturday and watched today.
I am a bit disappointed but did learn some things.
Surprised that he never mentioned the mag release take down...
Also was waiting for that 'special use' of the trigger lock that I saw mentioned here some where and he did not address that either.
I believe it was to help with reassembly.
Oh well, again I did learn 'something' from it at least, but almost sad that I posted it in the first place...
I received mine the other day and watched it once.
I wanted to know the proper procedure for detail stripping the frame and that was laid out pretty simply.
The narrator should possibly brush up on part names and definitions.
I wasn't too impressed with the way he found it necessary to beat on that pin with his hammer.
Overall, I've spent more $'s for far less. :)

With your computer and a search engine such as Google, you can find how to do almost anything. I hadn't tried to look up info on the frame disassembly, but it's sure available... on YouTube and other places.
I replaced the DVD drive with a DVD-burner on my 2002 laptop after breaking down and finding the instructions online. It cost me a keyboard that I had already trashed while prying it out, but I did get that laptop upgraded... memory maxed, larger & faster hard drive, and DVD-burner... AND a new keyboard. That kept it usable for a few more years, but the processor... P4 2.2GHz... is too danged slow now... other considerations, too.
Before attempting any work you're not "expert" on, try to find the instructions online... saves money and headaches! But... WARNING... there are SPOOFERS out there who derive joy from getting people to believe what they post!
