The bottom line? It works better for me than the other small 9mm I've carried, including the PM9 and LC9. More in a minute.

I started out shooting range ammo and was suffering FTExtract on about 7 out of 100 rounds. After putting 300 rounds through it, it was going 4 /100. I tried some Gold Dots after 300 rounds and they fired, extracted and ejected perfectly. At 300 rnds, I tinkered with the mags to get the followers to fall freely within the mag tubes...a ten second job per mag. I don't know for sure if it helped . I also locked open my slide for the second time for 48 hours. I originally did this before my first range session.

After shooting a box of S&B 115 gr FMJ today, also a box of Gold Dot 115 gr, and 35 Federal HST 115gr, I am comfortable it will be reliable with Gold Dots or HSTs. The FMJs are trending to 2 or 3 FTEs per 100 rounds. I may still let Beretta polish the feedramp and chamber, but I'm in no hurry. My experience with the FMJ rounds suggests something is breaking-in. Is the gun generally ammo sensitive or is there an extractor tension or design problem. I don't know. Mine certainly is ammo sensitive toward higher powered ammo, although I did not move up to +P at any time.

Back to why its better for me, the ergos and temperate recoil allow me to shoot more accurately. The clean exterior, free of any protusions, is nice for CCW. A nice gun at the price and it will only get better as it gets used and as Beretta tweaks springs or extractors. With the modular design, it may convert to a .40S&W at a future date. Remember, this is only been out with us Beta testers since mid October. ;)

Since you don't own a Kahr anymore and hope the Beretta might work some day does that mean you are going to take your Beretta NANA hey hey goodbye to the Beretta NANA forum?

I am sorry to hear about all the problems you have had with the Nano TriggerMan. Hopefully Beretta will take care of you.

That kind of problems are the reason because I prefer to wait about 1 year after a firearm has been introduced into the market before I buy it.

That kind of problems are the reason because I prefer to wait about 1 year after a firearm has been introduced into the market before I buy it.I knew this might be a gun with growing pains. Because I have three other guns I could CC, I went for it. I have enough FLAWLESS SD ammo thru it to feel comfortable in carrying it as my primary and did so today.

I don't want to buy ANY PRODUCT knowing it is going to have growing pains. IfI buy a product I like and it gives issues that is another thing but I sure in heh won't buy a product knowing I am going to have "growin pains". That for me applys to all products not just guns.

That for me applys to all products not just guns. There is a difference between "MIGHT HAVE" and "will have". There's growing evidence that 40% of all gun purrchases have these pains. No one is suggesting we stop buying guns altogether are they? Well maybe Obama. I also submit to you you the Kahr P380.
