I broke down and cleaned my CM9 after the first 100 rounds. The Gide rail is chipped on the left side. What now? Do I go back to the store or do I have to send it to Kahr if so how? A little upsetting !

Normal.

Relax...I don't think that is a chip. It is in all the guns. Somebody will chime in with the reason why it's there. Mike

Q. There is a chip in the metal guide rail of my polymer pistol. Is this normal?

A. This is a witness mark for the polymer frame manufacturer and is present by design.

So I don't worry about it and keep on shotting?

Jeez... it's an alignment mark for manufacturing... in the manual and in the FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS at Kahr.com... places I would consult if I had questions or "problems".

Questions 24... the last one about the "chip" missing.

Yes, keep on shotting. Sorry... can't resist!

Sorry for picking on you, 3one5, we see that and a few other questions a lot. I just made a joke about that in the last two days. We like to have fun here, too.

Welcome aboard and good luck with your Kahr(s).

Wynn:)
