I took my CM9 to the range this morning and was pleasantly surprised by the low recoil. Put 100 rounds of WWB and 50 rounds of Indepence through it and I had at least 10 failures to feeds, gave it a good tap on the bottom of the magazine and it fed. It was doing it on both brands of ammo, what do I need to do to get it to feed smoothly every time? Other than this I love it

as far as recoil, these are perfectly sized pistols for the 9mm round. i love the performance of these things with the 147gr wins myself.
never have had a ftf with my pm9 but my friend did with his. the first time out he had a few. we took it to my house, did a basic disassembly, sprayed out the slide with some syn safe gun scrubber, lubed it up and headed back to the range. never a problem since. if the problem does re-occur, there are some threads with instructions on how to "optimize" the magazine but i would try every other option 1st myself... good luck.

do the propper prep of ur new kahr on the kahr tech section and also the kahr lube thread.
next after that shoot some more to see what goes. It might still need some more rounds to get smooth out. then if it continues, let another shooter shoot thegun to see if he can duplicate ur issues.

Be sure it is cleaned up of any manufacturing debris, especially in the striker channel. Check your mag springs for proper orientation. Watch that you're NOT pressing the mag release when firing. Try better ammo.
If all this fails, send it to Kahr and try to get them to pay for the shipping both ways.

I did all the prep, took it apart, cleaned and oiled. Also the magazines. Racked the slide about 500 times. Then took it to the range. One FTF out of 100. Next trip ran flawlessly, even racking the slide instead of using the slide stop.

Took mine to my Texas CHL class today to qualify for my CHL permit and it ran flawless, scored a 238 with it. I have fallen in love with this gun.
jocko is right. I preped mine exactly as described and it ran FLAWLESSLY today.:)
