Put up a website that sold Holsters and other accesories for Kahrs, and other pistols? That would be the main focus, but actually you could buy about anything Amazon sells from my website. So far I have a collection of Kahr holster, Tactical Flashlights, and 1911 Holsters, If you'd like to see items for another brand of pistol let me know.
Before I can share the website I have to pay Kahr some money to "advertise". So far I've found some pretty good stuff from BlackHawk, Bianchi, Surefire, and others.
The prices seem VERY good too, compared to some other sites.
I'm just doing this because I'm disabled, and might make a few extra $$$ this way. Not disabled anyway you can see, but my liver and some other organs are messed up from cancer, and Dr. won't release me to work, says I don't have the strength to work a real job.

Gosh, thank you folks, your good wishes means a lot to me. I'm putting the finishing touches on the websight now, and as soon as I pay Kahr their money, I can advertise the location and anything I think is a good deal. If this goes over good, I will get a chance to get off the Governtment Teat. I hate being dependent on the gubmint for my money to live on. Makes me feel like I'm living like a do-nothing low-life, know what I mean?
The govt. makes it hard to get off disability without screwin your life up. They won't let me go to school to learn a new trade. If I work a part time job they take the whole amount of my pay out of my check then make me pay taxes on it. All my doctors have advised me since I'm 56 to leave well enough alone and not worry about going back to work. They say it's not worth it and I'd not hold up long anyway. I dunno, I paid a bunch of money into the system, might as well collect while I'm alive. With all the damage done, I'm not expecting to live a long life, so might as well collect while I can.
PLEASE, don't feel sorry for me, this is how God wants it, and that's how it shall be. I've made my peace with the Lord and am ready to go anytime he needs me. Lord knows I was one of the very lucky 20-25% that went into remission with my condition, so I consider any time I have to be a bonus.
And don't think you have to buy from me cause I'm a member of the forum or had a sad tale to tell, if you find a better price somewhere else, buy it from them! I sure as hell would.

I'm kinda in-between. So do I order or get to pay?

Your personal situation aside - if Kahr wont allow you post your website here, they fail to see the mutual benefit of your endeavor. You'll be promoting things that work with their product. That benefits them.

Kahr will let me advertise here, I just need to pay them a royalty. No big deal.
I just thought this would be a good place to advertise since I have quite a bit of Kahr accesories hightlighted on my web page.

Of course you won't offend anybody here, Tom. I only hope you will remember us when you net more than any of those "I am just a common man" politicians. You know we'll hit your site.
Is your site one of those things where you get paid by companies who advertise on your site - some kind of count the clicks thing? If so, what are the rules for clicks? Do they only count 1 click per clicker per day or do they count them all? I'm pretty good at clickin for my friends.

And because you are now considered rich he is going to raise your taxes. But only until November because he will be a lame duck after that... :D
Go for it.

My site is a spin off from Amazon, and offer many of the same products. I chose Electronics, Sports and Outdoors, Home and Garden, Movies, Music, and Games, Books, Tools (auto/industrial) and Office and Computers. Amazon pays me for people that go thru my site and order things. I get a small commission on people's purchases from Amazon.

Brother I know first hand this scenario. It's near impossible to get off the gubmint teat once your on and it took me a long long time to realize that I paid (not by choice) into the program. At first your on time loss and they keep any money you make. I was just the opposite, they wanted to send me to school and quarterly doctor BS, it was unending.
My chief at the time wanted to hire me and I told it was just a waste since you'd just be sending the check to the state. She checked and found out that I just had to sign off all the retraining and rehab. Chief said if I needed training she would train me so I don't have to give the state the money no more.
Still get the medical equipment etc.
Anyhow I understand your issue with the gubmint.
I'll be checking out the website, good idea.

I am on permanent disability because of a hereditary, slowly progressive paralysis of my motor nerves that started in my feet and hands and is working it's way ever so slowly up my limbs. If you prick a toe with a pin, I'll say ouch, but I can't move it hardly at all. I am 61 now, and I can just barely walk short distances using a 4 wheeled walker. My hands and wrists are also substantially weakened and crippled. Though my condition is rare, it was specifically defined in SS literature as a permanently disabling condition. So there were no denials and they haven't even done a review since I was approved in 8/05. As I understand it, I could earn up to $1000 a month without a hit to my checks, but I would have to file and pay some taxes. If I were to try and get off the teat, I would have to very quickly get to making enough to cover my checks plus medical insurance—pretty much a full time job. Trouble with that is that my condition makes me so weak and low on energy that I cannot do full time or even half time work. And it would have to be a very secure and steady income to match the relative security that I have at present. I don't like being in this situation. I had a good career going as an IT professional, but the no soul corporate polititian types decided (stupidly and wrongly) that I was a liability and my career suddenly came to an end. I am thankful, though, that this SSDI safety net is here. God bless America! :)

I am for ANYONE who wants to run a business and turn a profit. That is the American way.
Let's see, you want to actually work for a living instead of letting the gov't justifiably provide your support. That's somehow seems vaguely unAmerican.
You have my vote....best of luck!

I just didn't want you all to think I'm trying to make money off my friends here. I just figure if I have something you want or need, at a reasonable price, then I would surely appreciate your business.

I got no issue with "friends" who want to make money off of me sir.
My silly son in law fights me every time I try to pay him for the work he does for me. I tried to tell him that if he keeps on Imma take my work to someone else (of course I wont because I can not find a comparable mechanic but he still wont allow me to pay for anything over parts..).

LOL, that reminds me of all the free computer work I do for my relatives. They do offer to pay, and If I'm hard up I'll take gas money, but that's about it. Sure beats them getting scalped by the geek squad at Best Buy. I don't think half those people know a hard drive from a keyboard.

Heck yea Thetman, go for it...I would rather buy from someone I know than deal with someone I know nothing about....(It's weird how being a member here makes you family)...Anyway I got you on my daily talk to God list now and I hope you will continue with remission and good health....
I'm sorry about your problem with Social Security and I have personal family experience about how hard they are to deal with but they didn't seem to mind taking your hard earned money all those years in the past so don't you feel bad for a second about collecting YOUR money they took from you...
I've been looking for a good IWB holster so I will keep you in mind and if you can find someone to manufacture a little plug to fill in that hole at the bottom of the polymer grip i'll buy 10 of the suckers...I'm not sure why that hole bothers me so much but it just looks unfinished on an otherwise beautiful pistol....Good luck with your endevor my friend....:yo:
