i went to a gun show today and there was a guy there from http://www.remoraholsters.com and after checking these out for a lil bit i was pretty impressed. unfortunately, he was sold out of just about everything and didn't have a pm9 holster but he did have one with a glock subcompact set up to try. i drew the glock from my pocket every time without any problems and would assume the pm9 would be the same or better. i pocket carry my pm9 daily with a desantis but the remora felt thinner and grippier(thats a word, right?). the guy demoing them was showing how they are a "clip less iwb" and was jumping up & down with it in his waistband w/out a belt. i think its neat as an iwb but am more interested as pocket holster..
anybody out here try one of these?

I have one for my CW9 and love it. Nice pocket holster for my jacket usually.
Also, a very comfortable IWB holster.

I have two of them. Only mishap I had was once after dinner I loosened up my belt, then went out to check the mail with my belt loose on some loose fitting jeans. The holster slid down the back of my butt, and I ended up shaking it out of my pants leg.
That's the only problem I've had with it. I bought the first one for a CW45 with a CT laserguard, and the second for my Boberg that I either wear in my front pocket or appendix position about 2 o'clock. In the front pocket it breaks up the outline of the gun very well, and looks like I'm maybe carrying my wallet in my front pocket. People don't really look for bulges and things unless they are another CC permit holder or a cop.

I got mine with the sweat shield option and use it when working outside in the summer heat. A little uncomfortable but it keeps my handgun dry.

Joshh,
Do a little searching on this forum. You will find quite a few posts regarding the Remora holsters. Mostly positive, and very few complaints.
I have one for my PM9 with the reinforced lip. It's a very nice IWB for the PM9. No issues to speak of.
I have the reinforced lip model for my CM9, carries AIWB, pocket carry, and IWB nicely :)

I've got one for my PM9 and consider it just OK for appendix carry and pocket carry. AIWB it does move around a bit during the course of an active day and I will from time to time need to make a small adjustment. I prefer a clip holster. For pocket carry I much prefer my modified by me Alabama Holster. I am however keeping the holster mainly because I don't have a clip holster for my PM9 and it allows me to only need to take one holster for AIWB and Pocket when I spend time in PA visiting family or hunting. I can leave my Alabama at home but still pocket carry.

i did search remora and came up with scattered info...
i am only thinking it would replace my desantis and am still looking for a quality iwb but i am not sure if i would even use it for the pm9..

Looks like a decent idea, but the size they recommend for the CM/PM9 w/ CT laser is freaking huge. Waaay longer than it needs to be to accommodate the height.

i dont have the ct i will have to look for the sizes of the standard version. my desantis is 5.25" tall by 4" at its widest point. i def would like to see one for the pm9 before i buy it. when i look back at the holsters ive bought over the years that i dont use its frustrating...

I have one in my pocket right now, with my PM9 in it. That's my primary -- like 95% of the time -- means to carry concealed.

Remora 3B and Kahr CM9
wow. thanks for posting the pic! looks good but it almost looks to big for the m9's. looks a bit much longer than it needs to be past there barrel & it covers the rear site. are either of those an issue? maybe i'll wait for the next show and try a couple sizes...

When I tried a Remora, I didn't like it. You are right: it is too long. In particular I found over an inch of gathered and sewn material underneath the muzzle of my CM9, which made it ride so high in the pocket that the back of the slide and grip were right at the top edge of my jeans pocket in plain view. I also found it to be way too thick, exaggerating the bulbous mass in my pocket. I tried it in the waist. It is sticky all over, so you cannot insert it and position it in your waist without undoing your belt and maybe your pants. And then it moves out of position before you get buckled up again. Now, the one I got had the sweat shield and it was the 3 way. They make a plain model with no sweat shield or reinforced mouth that is cut down for easier draw. But it still might have that extra gathered material at the bottom. And the material is about 1/4" thick. Yuck! I sent mine back.

Initially, they came out with another size holster for the PM/CM9 (don't remember the #), then they changed to the size 3B. It's not too big but I don't even try and pocket carry with it. I generally wear Levi's and it doesn't work well in that type of application for me. When I carry it, it's IWB @ 3:30-4:00. I'm 5'8", 155lbs, 74 yo and have no trouble placing it in the waist band or in my jacket pocket when out riding the hog. Mostly however, I use the PJholster for IWB.

pocket carry hoster is all id be looking for. the one they had at the show felt thinner and grippier than my desantis but if its too big i wouldnt want it. i like the material from the remora so i think i'll have to get to the next show early and hope he has some more models to try with my pm9. til then i'll stick with the desantis pocket. i have only carried the pm9 pocket because i havent found an iwb holster that i like. i keep considering the crossbreed style but dont know that the pm9 needs 2 clips on a holster and i have no interest in spending a ton of $ on a custom leather right now.

Picked up a Remora for my Glock 26. Love the properties of the holster. Very well made and "sticky". The holster does what it's supposed to do... stay put (and very well I might add). Unfortunately, I found that the holster adds too much additional thickness to an already bulky gun. No way I could carry in my pocket.
Now, with that said, for a thinner gun like a Kahr or Keltec PF9, I think it would be perfect. So perfect, that I'm going to order one for my new PM9 later today. Oh.... one more thing. Customer service is second to none! Great people, very helpful. Highly recommended!
