I had a CT for my P380 - took it off after one try - but decided to give it another try today. I lked it better this time and I got used to the different grip (fingers lower) it was flawless with CorBon 90's. I also shot some Fed Red Box which fed 100% except for 1 premature lockback. I found I had to set the beam a little lower than the sights - and it was right on at 10 yards. I tried it "long range" and got an 8" group at 15 yards - and remember I'm a terrible shot!
The only part I didn't like was the fact that the 2 fingers on the grip were not on the same plane and the recoil flipped a little more because my fingers were lower - but hey, its a laser so now I'm cool cause I got Da Beam! (ha ha)
Is fun and maybe it could help out in a gunfight? Who knows. If you have about $170 for a toy it can give you a lot of fun. Easy to install and adjust.

Great training tool in my opinion. Train with it but without ammo (dry firing/snap caps) and you'll make up the $170.00 in fairly short order.

I was at the indoor range yesterday And the guy in the stall next to me had Da Beam. It dove me crazy watching his dot bouncing all over the place. Made me nervous as hell just watching. :D
Does it seem that bad behind the gun?

I don't mind them on autos, but I scare myself when I turn the laser on with my S&W Bodyguard .38 or the LCR. It really is amazing that I hit the broadside of a barn with a revolver.
Even though I don't dry fire practice, I can really see the value of the laser as a training aid while learning revolver triggers.

I am trying to learn to shoot right handed (I'm a lefty) and da beam has really shown me my horrible trigger jerk and flinch. We really must have two sides to the brain - and only one of mine has learned to shoot - it's like starting over again.
Seriously, I like laser sights but I don't think they have much value on a moving target because you must often lead beyond the target to hit it - lasers are not any good in those situations. On the other hand they are like the sound of a 12 gauge pump racking - something every badguy understands.
My wife has one on her S&W 38 spl bodyguard (nice gun) It gives her some confidence (she hates shooting) and for ony that it is worthwhile.

I have them on all my carry guns,(and some I dont carry), and agree they are great for trigger control.
