This is a good link comparing the LC9, Solo, EPM, 290 with the PM9.

Nice comparison, if you disregard the 1911-clone EMP. Which I usually do

That was the first thing that I did too.

In my opinion that article is terrible; just poorly-edited paid propaganda.

I am not sure I really understand what you mean, but why do you disregard the Springfield EMP? The EMP is an excellent firearm.

A great weapon, just much bigger than the others.

I'm sure the EMP is a great firearm, just doesn't belong in this group. Much bigger and heavier than the others and single action only, of course it wins all the categories, except concealability which should have been the main defining factor of the comparison along with being 9mm. At 6.5" and 26 oz. I wouldn't call it a subcompact, 3" barrel or no. Something like sure wasn't on my short list or even my long list when I bought my pm9. All three of the others were. Should have compared the nano instead, or any other true sub-9. I won't even get started on gun writers and their fanatical worship of the 1911 platform... That's why when I see comparisons with only one 1911 clone I'm usually more interested in what came in second...

Agree, the EMP is too large to compare to the others. Looks like we all made the right decision with our PM9's :)

We experienced a few malfunctions with all five pistols ranging from failures to feed to smokestack jams and failures to extract. But as all were new, out-of-the-box guns, this was not unexpected, and the frequency of malfunctions decreased as the pistols were broken in
