Well I finally did it. After looking at a number of compact 9mm's I told Cabela's to put one aside for me. They tell me that the CM9 sell's as fast as they get one in. Not the best price as compared to thread's here on Kahrtalk but better than the local gun store by $60. plus I have a $250. gift cert. coming from credit card company. So excited can't wait. :D:D

You won't be disappointed in your decision. I looked and compared all the 9s in this class, I still feel the Kahr has the best trigger and smallest form factor. Although, I have not compared it to the new Beretta Nano yet. Be sure to follow the lube and break in suggestions on this site. Do not get discouraged if you have hang ups for the first 200-350 rounds because some have longer break in periods than others.

I second what Bear said. I got my PM9 a couple years ago after many hours of comparing different guns. I'm glad I chose this one although would have bought the CM9 had it been out then.

Make sure you do the clean and lube shown on this site before you fire it and you shouldn't have any problems.

bopthw ill help that first outtting be a 110% success. trust me and this forum u got a really nice gun. Price is irrelevant IMO. U got what you wanted, not like paying 10 bucks for a hamburger and crapping it out 5 hours laterand u now have nothing t show for it... You are gonna keep this gun,...It is a dandy.

I'm jealous, I only have a $50.00 Cabela's gift card burning a hole in my wallet. :)
Yeah, Cabela's gun prices are high unless you catch a sale but that $250.00 card sure eases the pain. Plus, you're getting a fine gun.

The price at Cabela's was $50. lower than my friendly local gun store where I purchased two other guns. Something to look forward to. :target:

cabela's buying power is far far better than most of the local gun shops. Kinda hard to not support them but money is money..

Well the gift card is finally here. Seems like it took forever to receive. Going Monday to purchase the CM9 from Cabela's for $449.00 minus $250. gift card. In Wisconsin there is a two day wait so I need to go back on Wednesday to pick it up. Soooo excited can't wait to start the new gun "set up" you guys talk about. Then to the range. Like a kid at Christmas. :D

I love my CM9. I'm through the break-in period, I have it loaded with Federal HST, and I'm headed to the pizza joint to pick up pizza for the family right now with it in my back pocket.
