Now that new owners are properly preping their new CM9s and using break-in ammo that is not weak mimimum low velosity loads, the problems have mostly disappeared. Nobody is getting failures to fire, failures to eject and failures to lock the slide back on a empty magazine. So if all you new owners continue to do the basics, the CM9's reputation will continue to improve and sales of the Kahr CM9 hanguns will explode. Thanks to everyone that posted recommended break-in procedures! :yo:

I followed all the suggestions on this board and couldn't be happier with my PM9. I honestly expected more issues at first from what I saw others were experiencing.

I had a few in the first 50, but it has ran like a top in the last 500 or so.

My CM9 had issues on startup w. PMC ammo.... then I got new followers and slide stop spring from Kahr, and I switched to Rem Express ammo to complete the breaking it in process. Now CM9 eats up anything, including the PMC ammo and Hornady Critical Defence.
