- If you always do a "New Posts" search you can make a bookmark for the search by copying inside the quotes to a bookmark.

- To see all your posts make a bookmark with this text:
"http://kahrtalk.com/search.php?do=finduser&u=XXXX" Substitute "XXXX" with your member ID.

- Find your member ID by Going to the top right corner of the forum where it shows "Welcome, [User Name] and click on your user name. That opens a window with tabs across the top that includes "Contact Info" on the far right and click that. The bottom of the nexct window shows "This Page". Your Member ID is the number at the end of that string. OldLincoln is "1969".

- If you look at all your posts in several forums, you can make your favorite a folder and name it "My Posts". Put a bookmark for each forum naming the individual bookmark to match the forum.

There are a lot more tips so add your own here.

with u great one. If I have to go through all of that I will just pass on what I was looking for. Part of this forum is asking the same question a hundred times over and gettting 99 different answers:blah:

By 'Bookmark' he is refering to Favorites. I think IE calls them Favorites, but Firefox calls them Bookmarks. I'm sure KT Forum is at the top of your Bookmarks or Favorites List, and you click on it to join us here. If you right click on a Bookmark and click Properties, the second entry (Location) is the web page address. He is saying you can create new Bookmarks with those quoted addresses and get to those locations very quickly. Its funny, though. If you enter the quoted address and go, the resulting address is often a search ID. For instance, New Posts. If you save that as a Bookmark, you will always get that exact search result. So, you have to edit the Properties of the Bookmark and paste "http://kahrtalk.com/search.php?do=getnew" in there so it will always do a fresh search.
