Has anyone tried to use the pm9 metal magazine base or floor plate on their cw9?
Is there an article on here?
Pictures are welcome.

Yes, it will fit...but it won't be flush as it is not flush in the PM9.
You need the floor plate AND the retainer.

Sorry, I can't watch a 10 min vid that starts out with someone rambling on about themselves, showing nothing.
but that's just me,

That’s fine but you don’t have to apologize to me. In the first place it’s not my video and in the second I did not post the video for you, it was attached to kahrbw9 post showing that it can be done and the amount of gap between the plate and magazine. Hopefully he found it informative.

I prefer the metal base plates myself. Alas I wont pay the price to change out my magazines.

Almost pick up a Glock 19 but decided to get a couple 8 round magazines for my CW9 instead. All my Kahr’s are very comfortable when I carry any of them in my IWB holster and my PM9 has replaced the LCP for pocket carry.

You've got a good eye, that is indeed a P9 slide stop in my CW9. There's nothing really wrong with the MIM stop, I just like the look of the "P" series stop better. I've have a P45 stop in my CW45 as well.:)

Is there any modification to do this part exchange.Because I always thought and read that it doesn't work. But indeed it does.

No modifications were needed; it was a straight swap and neither one has given me a lick of trouble.

I sure liked that officers .45 magazine. I believe a flush fit 9mm mag for the CW9 would sell pretty well. Has anyone used a grinder to knock that bevel down some? I guess the protruding bevel strengthens the plastic.

Tilos has a good example of cutting down an extended pm. Given that Kahr wants to rip off their customers for $17.60 + shipping, I feel inclined to modify my Kahr 7-9 plastic base and floor plate. If I can get rid of some of that flange, it will be an improvement. I would think that a manufacturer of mags for small grip 1911 ultra carry 9mms might see opportunity for a easy entry product. Kahr has their head buried in the sand.
