I've spent a lot of time lurking on this site so I was expecting some failures - got none. I'm so pleased with this CM9. I only made 2 mods. I squeezed the top of one of the mags because it wouldn't slide out but the other one did. The difference between the two was .002" in thickness so I squeezed it to make up the difference and now they both just pour out of the gun. The other mod was to round out the sharp corners on the slide release. I spent a lot of time racking, running the mags in and out, tearing down, lubing, deburring, inspecting and learning about this gun. I purposefully didn't just clean it and run out to shoot it. I wanted to know as much as I could before any ammo got near it.

So I had no FTF, FTE, stovepipes, FT eject the mag, bleeding thumb, waffle palm (only 50 rounds though) or any of that stuff. The gun slingshot every time - even when I thought I might have ridden the slide. My profession involves machine engineering and tool making. This thing is built like a Rolex. I far prefer that to a Timex.

My deep thanks to everyone who has posted about prepping, lubing, mag mods, gripping...everything about these. I'm just as happy as could be. BTW this is my first handgun purchase. I've shot lots of long guns in my life but never owned a pistol. I'll post more as the breaking in continues over the next few weeks.

nice report, nice to see you did the mods that most here would say to do also. contouri g that slide stop lever is what I did when I bought my pm9. i ALSO EVEN MADE THAT SLIDE STOP PIN THAT PROTRUDES ON THE RIGHT SIDE FLUSH WITH THE FRAME TO. LOOKS LIKE A TRIGGER PIN BUT i AM STILL ABLE TO POP OUT THE SLIDE STOP LEVER.

u did well, welcome aboard, now just shoot it like u stole it, It is built like a brick sh-thouse as u stated.

Can't help but notice the similarity of skiflydive and me in real life.
