I have read about "rounding" the slide release....
are you doing that with a file?......sand paper?.....what?
It is a sharp little bugger.

Lucky you having a bead blaster. Wish I did.
Lacking the bead blaster, I took just enough off to dull the sharp edges to feel without changing the appearance noticeably.
Here is a picture from Jocko's famous custom PM9. The thread is here: http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=859

Bead blaster - $30 at Harbor freight, if you have an air supply to plug into.

I hear you. My little buzzing guy isn't likely to have the needed volume. I'll just be a miser about spending the $200 total to get everything needed and continue to whine about it, thank you! :p

Before blasting!
If ya want yer part blasted... send me a PM (and the part with a SASE). I mean it takes seconds to do. I'm using ground glass, not glass beads, not sand. Comes out "close" to factory.
