We just went out to the range again and I forgot the camera.

if you haven't started him with his own "collection", I might suggest a Rossi Combo with interchangeable .22 cal barrel and .410 barrel. He probably will physically "outgrow" it in a couple of years, but will most likely never let it go.

I LOVE to start 'em young. I believe it's easier to instill proper respect for a firearm in an 8 year old than an 18 year old.

I got started at age 5 with a 12 gauge pump, sat me right down . Kind of a tradition in my family to start off that way. I guess it instill respect for the power of firearms but maybe its just because its hilarious for the adults. Way to get em started.

It appears that proper instruction is being taught to this youngster.I wish more people would take the time to usher their kids into the shooting sports. It purely warmed my heart to see that photograph.Brought back a lot of memories. Thanks.

He loves to go shootin with dad.
I got a Ruger 10/22 for him to plink with,
and last weekend I introduced him to the AR15.(His new Favorite)

We did a lot of range training in my office, using my desk as the firing line.
I taught him on cold range set the gun down and back away. Do not cross that line for anything. I just did not want any type of accident or embarassing moments.
