I got a great deal on a P40 with the DLC coating and Night Sights, but it has a few scratches. Who or where should I send it, will Kahr refinish it for a sum?
Is there something better?
The scratches really don't bother me, but I was thinking of giving this to the Nephew for a graduation gift and wanted it to look nice. I had his shotgun redone in Cerakote Burnt Bronze, thought about that too.

There's lots of options for refinish and a lot of new stuff out there too.
Robar can do some miraculous stuff. We had a gun not too long ago we sent off to Birdsong for their Black T although they have some different colors now available too. It was very reasonable compared to some of the others and is a great looking finish.
Cerakote is rumored to be pretty good stuff. I've no experience with it yet.
Jeepster is intimate with Ahlmans and they obviously do alot of nice refinishing too. I believe Jfootin has his 638 there for some fine tuning and refinish.
Hopefully they'll provide some info for you as well.

I think he wants to know something inexpensive and easy to do a DIY touchup. Any ideas?

No, inexpensive isn't the goal.
I want a good looking long lasting finish

Oh, OK go for it! :) That Ceracoat is ceramic - really hard stuff.
