With my new CM9 coming, will it have a good detailed instruction for disassembling it for proper cleaning and lube? Or is there better instruction someplace on the Forum? I found the Lube instructions on Kahr Tech but the parts are already laid out on there.
I may not understand or remember all I read right now but at least I can get familiar with the procedure. Thanks.

On the CM9 once you line up those marks you might have to give the backside of the slide release a hard push to get it to pop out the first time. Once you lube it and shoot it a time or 2 it will break down much easier. Once you get that slide release out the rest is gravy.

Let us know if you have any problems.

Thanks for that link. Was very information, I believe I might even be able to do it when the gun comes in. I'm getting really nervous about it though after reading all the problems the Kahr seems to have before getting it to work smoothly.

I wouldn't worry at all. The problems you read here are the %1 that have a problem and people search out this forum looking for help. The other %99 have great running guns and have no reason to search and find us here. Like you, I was nervous with my new cm9 after reading this site. 600 flawless rounds later I am just another happy kahr customer.

I bought a new CM9 last week at Cabelas. The disassembly instructions are sparse but enough...holding the slide back is the tough part. Just be sure to install the slide stop according to the instructions.
