Just two?
I know you have more Glocks than two - LOL!

Just testing the water first?

No, all the other Glocks already had Pachmayr grips. :p As soon as I buy a Glock, I immediately order Pachmayr grips, TruGlo TFO sights, and a "-" connector if the gun is for GSSF, otherwise I order a Ghost Rocket 3.5.

I've got 5 barrels for my G27.
I'm guessing you have at least that many Glocks - LOL!!!

BTW thanks for the Ghost Rocket 3.5 tip.
Got it. LOVE IT!

I put one of those slip-on grips on my Ruger LCP. It did help, but I never did like that little pistol. That's what I traded in towards my Kahr CW9.
Happiness and Joy followed.

I've never even been interested in one before.
But I got like 6 different grips for my S&W 640-1/357.
And totally love the Pachmayr Compac grips.
People were raving about these new Pachmayr Tactical Glock sleeves.
And my Glock G27 is my only Tupperware gun.
Plus they look cool - LOl!

They fit like a glove, very thin.
And give the brick-ish feel of the grip some rounding.
I really love them.
Much better than I expected.

.

I had those on a Colt Cobra. They were excellent. I even bought a pair for my S&W 642, but changed again when I installed the Crimson Trace 305 grips on it. Pachmayr makes great aftermarket stuff.

Speaking of the Colt, it brings back fond memories and a kick in the butt for selling it.:o

Barth, do you have any experience with the Pachmayr Gripper and/or Decelerator grips for revolvers? They both are a little longer than the Compac and cover the backstrap. The Decelerator has 50% softer rubber and some special recoil absorbing cushions along the backstrap. The Gripper has palm swells and is slightly more hand filling. They have a 10% smaller Gripper, also. Interestingly, the boot type Compac grips with setback little finger groove are not to be found on the Pachmayr (http://www.pachmayr.com/home/revolver-grips.php) website. WTH? What is pictured under that name is a larger grip with no finger grooves and a covered backstrap.

Have Decelerators and don't like them, have not tried the Gripper.

As for the Compac grips.
After getting them for the S&W 640-1, I bought some for my 629-2.
They are about the same size, material, and fill the hand the same way.
But the design for the N frame doesn't have the setback finger groove.
Don't worry about that.
The fit, feel and size is nearly the same for both.

Thanks. I don't think I would like the Decelerator, either. Probably a spongy feel, right?

I hate to talk grips because it’s such a personal choice.
I prefer full, hard rubber, grips.
The decelerators just don’t feel right.

I prefer brunettes to blondes; they just feel right in my hands.
But that’s just me....
Understand?
